2011 increase for Sarnia police should be lower than OK’d

Sarnia's Police Services board have been told that an expected increase of 2.99 per cent they had previously approved is likely to be less–2.82 per cent.

Police Services Chief Phil Nelson, responding to comments from board members that the Observer newspaper had reported a 3.5 per cent increase, said he "can't figure out how they did that."
