Rogers Bayfest gets big bucks from province

Sarnia Rogers Bayfest has received the maximum amount of support from the Ontario Ministry of Tourism and Culture to help with the long-standing music festival at Centennial Park.

Bayfest will get $400,000 as part of a $20 million infusion by the McGuinty government to boost 230 festivals this year.

The Starlight Summer Festival at the Imperial Theatre was also a recipient of funding.

It receives $75,000.
