It is with broken hearts that the family of Micheal Joseph Rumleski announces his sudden passing at the age of 72 on Oct. 21, 2011 in his beloved Harcourt Park where he had a cottage for many years. Dear husband of Marylou of Alvinston. Cherished father of Michael Jr. (Shauna) of Bancroft and Kathy (Shaun) of London. Proud grandfather of Sam, Cara, Aidan and Nolan. Proudly remembered by by his siblings Bud, Tillie (Don) and Joyce (Murray) of Brantford, Orville (Claire), Brian (Janet) of Matheson and Barry (Colette) of Porcupine. Predeceased by his mom and dad, Annie and Tony of Matheson, his brother Arnold and baby Tony. Dearly missed by his mother- and father-in-law Alexia and Bob Tindall, brother-in-law Robert (Lisa) Tindall of Lucan and sister-in-law Nancy (Ron) Cunningham of Wiarton, his aunts Peggy and Stella Rumleskie of Barry’s Bay and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He had a love of the rugged outdoors of the North, where he felt content, and he loved to walk for hours through the bush and in the fall, hunt with his dear friends. A talented musician, Mike played many instruments, without one lesson, and enjoyed playing with family and friends. He influenced and inspired many students who took his shop classes. His love for the simple life kept him grounded in hard work, humility and kindness for all he met. Mike always had a helping hand for anyone who needed it and nothing pleased him more than to share what he had with others. Because of his gratitude for life, he never took it for granted, but marvelled in each blessing. With his example, we go into the future mourning, but also praying, laughing, singing, dancing caring. In remembrance of Mike’s kind heart, consider a random act of kindness in his memory.Relatvies and friends will be received at the Van Heck Visitation Centre, 3232 River Street, Alvinston on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at Guthrie Presbterian Church, Alvinston on Wednesday, October 26 at 1:00p.m. Rev.
