Safe Communities holding presentation night this week

This Wednesday, Safe Communities Sarnia-Lambton will be recognizing individuals and organizations for their efforts of time, energy or resources in support of injury prevention and safety promotion in the community.

As part of the event, scheduled from 6:30 p.m. to 9:15 p.m., will be held at the Sarnia Arena Kiwanis rooom, the organization will be presenting five Ambassador for Safety awards in several categories.

In addition to presentations by Safe Community Sarnia-Lambton, presentations by the Sarnia Police on the issue of Halloween safety is also on the agenda.

Refreshments will be served and there will be numerous safety displays around the theme of “Be Visible.”
