Sarnia Police are investigating a break and enter to a Patton Place residence that happened sometime between 9:00am and 5:00pm yesterday (Tuesday)
Police say the culprits got in through a kitchen window and took an Acer lap top computer, a silver Rolex watch and a Paramax HD projection unit.
"We have experienced several break and enters in this area (around Wellington Street and Indian Road) recently, with more than one of them being committed during the day light hours" said Cst. Bill Baines,
"Citizens are encouraged to report suspicious activity to police at the time it is happening and look out for your neighbours" added Baines.
Forming a Neighbourhood Watch group in your neighbourhood provides another means of preventing crime, he said.
If you and your neighbours are interested in forming a watch group, contact Cst. Les Jones at 519-344-8861 ext 6091.
