Sarnia police to use speed indicator trailer over next few weeks

Sarnia police said residents and visitors will see the Speed Indicator Trailer in town over the next few weeks.

This device is used by law enforcement to create driver awareness by reducing speed and changing driver behavior.

The trailer will be placed in various areas of the city and tells a driver what their speed is in that posted zone.

The data is collected internally and a log book is updated by recording the locations the trailer has been placed.
