Storm damage throughout Sarnia evidenced in downed trees

One example of the widespread damage from high winds Monday evening came courtesy of LambtonShield.com contributor Colin Graf, who took this photo of Sarnia resident Jeff Lacroix with with his nephew Mathieu standing by what was formerly a very intact minivan. Having seen pictures of the vehicle, which was crushed by a fallen tree on Watson Street, Lacroix's insurance company told him "not to bother" having it towed to a repair shop.

Another reader, Rick Smith, sent along this picture of a formerly healthy tree that was uprooted on his Willard Ave. property.
