OPP arrest Detroit driver entering Canada under the influence

Lambton OPP have charged a 55-year-old Detroit man after he allegedly attempted to enter Canada in the early hours of last Friday while impaired. The driver, who was first stopped by Canada Border Service Agency officers, will appear in a Sarnia court to answer to the impaired driving charge.

Driver, nabbed trying to evade RIDE checkpoint, faces drunk driving charge

  Lambton OPP say a 49-year-old Point Edward man tried to evade a RIDE checkpoint Saturday night but faces charges of drunk driving. The driver will appear in Sarnia court on Feb. 18 to answer to the charges. The RIDE programs continue.
