Sarnia solar project up for renewable award

The Enbridge solar project in Sarnia has been chosen as one of three finalists for the renewable/sustainable energy Project of the Year by Oklahoma-based Power Enginerring Magazine. The local project is up against solar projects in California and Florida.   The winner will be announced on Dec. 12.

A five-year-old Sarnia boy who was struck by a vehicle this week has died. Police say Haiden Dugas passed away in a London hospital from injuries suffered when he was hit on Campbell Street, near Samuel, on Wednesday afternoon just before 4:30.   The traffic division continues to investigate.
