Theft from car, two suspects arrested

Police said on Apr. 22 around 12:30 a.m., two men were spotted in a parking lot in the 900-block of Colborne Road acting suspicious.

Witnesses said the two men allegedly pried open the trunk of a car and removed tools, then fled the area on their bikes.

Just before 1 a.m., the suspects were seen by police in the area of Lincoln Park and Cecil. One was arrested and the second attempted to flee, but was located a short distance away and arrested.

The two men, 18 and 28, are facing charges of Theft, Possession of Stolen Property, Mischief Under and Possession of Break-In Tools.
