St. Clair, Uncategorized, Where we live — By JD Booth on July 29, 2011 at 11:28 amLambton OPP is investigating the theft of cash and cheques from vehicles on Tom Street in Corunna early Thursday morning.
Police say the two separate incidents netted the thieves more than $3,300.
Authorities say the owners claim the vehicles were locked, but there was no sign of forced entry.
A police news release issued this morning reminds motorists to "lock it or lose it."
"Do not leave large sums of money, electronics, purses, wallets or any other personal item of value in your vehicle," says OPP spokesperson Cst. Chrysal Jones, while reminding motorists to take the extra time to make sure your vehicle is locked.
