Third period heroics give the Sarnia Pacers a come-from-behind win in Hamilton

Jimmy Purves capped off a six-point afternoon with the game-winner at 18:14 of the third period as the Sarnia Pacers edged Hamitlon, 10-9 in OLA Junior “B” action on Sunday afternoon in Hamitlon.
Purves ended the game with four goals and two assists.
Sarnia had fallen behind 9-7 in the third period before scoring three times in a little over two minutes late in the final frame for the victory.
The Pacers are now 2-1 on the season.
Kevin Conroy also scored twice for Sarnia, with singles going to TJ Mara, Dan Charlton, Josh Eldridge and Connor Smith.
The Pacers travel to London on Wednesday for a matchup with Blue Devils, a team they beat 12-10 at the Clearwater Arena last Wednesday.
London is 1-3 on the season after a 12-8 loss in Elora on Sunday.
 
Meantime, it was a tough weekend for Wallaceburg. They lost their home opener on Saturday to Six Nations, 20-10 and were on the short end of a 16-11 score in Guelph on Sunday.
The Red Devils are 1-2 on the season.
They'll host Windsor on Wednesday at 7:30.
