Three robbery suspects arrested Sunday remain in custody, slated to appear in court this week
Crime, Sarnia — By Joe Burd on April 24, 2012 at 12:33 pmSarnia police said the three men, two of which are 21 and the third 22, arrested Sunday morning for the robberies at three local businesses have all been remanded into custody and will appear in court later in the week.
All three suspects have been charged jointly with Conspiracy to Commit Robbery. One of the men, 21, faces three additional charges of Breach of Probation and is affiliated to the street gang “East of Adelaide” out of London, Ontario. The other 21-year-old faces an additional charge of Breach of Probation.
Shipway is affiliated to the street gang “East of Adelaide” out of London, Ontario.
Two of the men, 21 and 22, are slated to appear in court next on Apr. 26 for a bail hearing and the third man, 21, will appear Apr. 27 via video link to speak to his charges.
The investigation continues.
