Traffic stop results in man being arrested for drinking/driving
Lambton County, Lambton Shores — By JD Booth on April 26, 2012 at 11:54 am
Lambton OPP say they arrested a 55-year-old Sarnia man following a traffic stop on Lakeshore Road near Hubbard Line in Plympton-Wyoming yesterday (April 25).
An officer was patrolling the area when it is said that a 1990 Chevrolet pickup pulled out onto Lakeshore, cutting off another vehicle. There was no collision involved.
The OPP say the officer determined that the driver of the pickup had been drinking and a roadside demand was made. The result of that breath test was a fail and he was arrested.
The accused is to appear in Sarnia court on June 4, 2012 to answer to the charge.
