Two arrested in drug bust on Walpole Island
Crime, Lambton County, St. Clair, Walpole Island — By JD Booth on June 24, 2011 at 12:28 amTwo Walpole Island First Nation residents are facing drug and weapon charges following the execution of a search warrant at a Walpole Island residence earlier this week.
A Lambton OPP news release says officers from Walpole Island Police Service, and the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Aboriginal Issues Intelligence Unit executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrant at an Old Ferry Road Residence on Monday evening at about 8:30.
Officers located and seized an undisclosed quantity of suspected Marihuana, related drug paraphernalia and undisclosed amounts of Canadian and American currency
24 Year old Cedric Kyle Johnson and 21 year old Hilary Greenbird have been charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking, and possession of a prohibited weapon.
They're scheduled to appear in Sarnia court on August 8.
