Update: Collision on Christina and Nelson Streets

Sarnia Police are investigating an accident yesterday involving a blue Ford Mustang being driven by a 23-year-old male that collided with two pedestrians at the corner of Christina and Nelson Streets yesterday afternoon.
A 17-year old female from Sarnia and a 17-year-old male from Petrolia were struck as they walked west along Christina Street yesterday at about 2:50 p.m.
The female was taken to hospital in London with serious injuries while the man was treated and released from a Bluewater Health. The driver of the car was not injured nor was his female passenger.
The area was closed off by police until shortly after 9 p.m. last night.
