Vehicle collides with train in Warwick, five sent to hospital

A pickup truck pulling a horse trailer collided with a westbound CN train at Donnelly Road in Warwick Saturday, sending five people, including the driver to the Strathroy-Middlesex General Hospital.

Lambton OPP say the collision occurred around 5 p.m., with the OPP, CN Police, Lambton County EMS and the Watford Volunteer Fire Department all responding.

Three children, ages 8, 9 and 11 were treated and released. Deborah Tuckey, 43, remains in the hospital with what are described as non-life threatening injuries.

Jeffery Tuckey, 44, was transferred to London Health Sciences Victoria Campus where he remains as of Monday morning.

The horses and the train conductor were not injured.

OPP is continuing to investigate the incident.
