Lambton County — By on October 5, 2012 at 1:56 pm

A 35 year old Leamington man faces several charges including impaired driving and driving while disqualified after he was stopped on Highway 40 near Moore Line on Oct. 4.

Lambton OPP say an officer on patrol on Highway 40 stopped the accused, who is from Leamington, discovering that the man appeared to have been drinking alcohol.

Subsequent breath tests determined that the man was over the legal limit. Further investigation found that he was disqualified from driving, had no driver's licence and the plates on the vehicle were not for that vehicle.

The vehicle he was driving was impounded.

The accused will appear in Sarnia court on December 3, 2012 to answer to the charges.
