Wakeboards and equipment taken from Sarnia Bay Marina
Uncategorized, Where we live — By JD Booth on October 7, 2011 at 12:40 pmThieves made off with quite a haul as a result of a heist from a shed in the southwest corner of Sarnia Bay Marina.
Sometime overnight, from late Wednesday to early Thursday morning, the culprits placed a metal rack against a chain link fence to gain access and then cut a lock off a door to get inside, according to a police news release.
Twelve wakeboards with bindings, along with six wakeboarding vests, helmets, long boards and banners were removed.
“Some of these items are easily identifiable due to the specific markings on them,” said police spokesperson Heather Emmons.
Anyone with information about the break and enter is urged to contact Sarnia Police at 519-344-8861 or Crime Stoppers at 800-222-8477.
