Walpole Island Police make drug arrest following traffic stop

Walpole Island Police say a traffic stop in the area of Stewart Line in Chatham-Kent Monday around 5 p.m. led to a 27-year-old and a 25-year-old, both from Sarnia, being charged with possession for the purpose of traffic.

A quantity of what police believe to be marijuana was seized.

The accused will appear in Sarnia court on Feb. 13 to answer to the charges.
