Weekend to benefit Harmony Founder is finally here

Several events being planned to help with medical expenses incurred by Harmony for Youth Founder Joanne Klauke-LaBelle will be held this weekend.

Starting tonight (Friday, August 24) there is a Wine Tasting and Art Auction to be held at the Point Edward Optimist Hall (under the Blue Water Bridge). The event,which costs $20, runs from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Tomorrow (Saturday, August 25), a Bowl for Joanne event will be held at Marcin Bowl. The event is a pledge format.

On Sunday, August 26, organizers of the weekend events are holding a "Rockin Auction" at Jack Doyle's Irish Grille and Sports Bar from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m.
