Pipeline operator donates to local emergency response organization

$10k donation from Enbridge will go toward purchase of fire suppression foam pump

Enbridge, a pipeline operator with significant operations in Sarnia, has donated $10,000 toward the purchase of a foam pump to support fire suppression capacity. The donation was made this week through the Community Awareness Emergency Response (CAER) organization.

Terry McNally, manager regional services with Enbridge’s Sarnia Terminal, presented the donation to Bryan Van Gaver, Sarnia’s deputy fire chief.

The Enbridge Safe Community Program provides financial support to first responders and safety driven organizations so they can acquire new equipment, obtain professional training or deliver educational programs. The company says it supports organizations that contribute to the economic, environmental and social well-being of communities near its operations.
