Alvinston tops Dresden 5-1 in Junior ‘C’ hockey

The Alvinston Flyers  scored three times in the first period and coasted to a 5-1 win over Dresden in Great Lakes Junior "C" Hockey League action at the Brooke Inwood Community Centre on Sunday.

Chase Clark led the Flyers with a pair of goals and Brandon Campbell had another strong game in goal making 42 saves.

With the victory, coupled with Mooretown's 8-5 home ice loss to Wallaceburg on Saturday, Alvinston and the Flags are now tied for second place in the north division.

Mooretown plays at Wheatley tonight.
