CANstruction wraps up but displays remain on view at Lambton Mall

The real winners will be those who are served through Inn of the Good Shepherd

This weekend was CANstruction 2017, with more than a dozen teams participating in a contest that will live on for at least the next several days at Lambton Mall.

The beneficiary of the assembly of canned goods is the food bank run by the Inn of the Good Shepherd, notes Myles Vanni, executive director at the non-profit organization that helps fill a gap for those who have challenges meeting their basic needs.

Organizers are hoping the event, now in its sixth year, will generate about 35,000 pounds of food.
