Jane Joris, an administrator with North Lambton Lodge, has been promoted to general manager of Long-term Care for the County of Lambton.
The retirement of Chris Doyle, who leaves at the end of June, prompted the move.
In her 20-year career with the county, Joris was responsible for an intergenerational garden as well as a learning lounge/computer lab at North Lambton Lodge.
She is also the current vice-chair of the Ontario Association of Non-Profit Homes and Services for Seniors (OANHSS). In her new role, Joris will oversee the County’s three long-term care homes, Petrolia’s Lambton Meadowview Villa, Sarnia’s Marshall Gowland Manor, and the North Lambton Lodge in Forest, as well as the Adult Enrichment Centre day programs.
