Deadline approaching for ‘Outstanding’ awards

Chamber's gala—set for June—has nomination cut off next week

Those of you who are inveterate “last minute”(otherwise known as procrastinators) take note: it’s getting close to just that as far as the deadline for nominations for the 2017 Outstanding Business Achievement Awards is concerned.

By the end of this week, you’ll have LESS THAN TWO WEEKS to nominate a business in one of 16 awards categories, including a new-for-2017 Exporter of the Year.

The specific cutoff date is Wednesday, March 1 for nominations to be submitted, either online, at the Chamber office (556 Christina St. North, Sarnia) or any branch of Libro Credit Union, the official event sponsor for the Outstanding Business Achievement Awards gala, which takes place on June 16, 2017 at the Imperial Theatre in downtown Sarnia.

This signature opportunity to celebrate the “best of” business in Sarnia-Lambton is shaping up to be one of the most exciting yet, with a team working hard to exceed expectations.

Once nominations are in—remember March 1 is the deadline—those who are in the running will be contacted as part of a well-honed process that culminates on the night of the awards gala.
