The Women’s Interval Home recently received a cash donation from two organizations—Lighthouse Community Church and the Phalanx, a local community Christian Men’s Ministry—involved in a recent “wild game night” that included a full meal buffet prepared by Kevin Allen, a local chef.

The event included meat donated by local hunters and prizes donated by local businesses, including Valley Axe, Princess Auto, the Outdoorsman, Guardian Tree Services, Doc Peppers, Assita Property Services, Black Angus Fine Meats and Game, Uplands Pheasantry, Purdy’s Fisheries, Ontario Out of Doors Magazine, Promise Keepers Canada and Fishburn Outfitters. The Governors Table of New Brunswick also contributed a prize in the form of a discounted trip.

The meal, which cost attendees $20 per person, included “exotic” meats, including venison and other delights.
