A renowned Sarnia musician is hosting a unique event on Sunday, November 28 and it's all for a very worthwhile cause.
Mike Stevens is hosting "The Big Harmonica Lesson" from 2-4 p.m. at the Sarnia Public Library Auditorium with a portion of the proceeds going to his Artscan Circle program where he purchases harmonicas and takes them to remote communities in Northern Ontario and Labrador where substance abuse and suicide are critical issues.
For the admission price of $40, each person will receive a harmonica to use and keep, a two-hour group lesson and a lesson booklet.
"You will learn how to play," promises Stevens.
Tickets are available at the Cheeky Monkey, 130 Christina St. South, or at the door when they open at 1:30 p.m.
Stevens is leaving an his next northern trip on Monday morning.
