Ian McLean, art teacher and artist, continues to give back to the community

Teaching a 'next generation' is all part of what keeps him energized

Ian McLean is an art teacher at Sarnia's Northern Collegiate who has a practice of his own. He is currently participating in a show at the Judith & Norman Alix Art Gallery

Ian McLean, who has been teaching art to students in Sarnia (most of the time at Northern Collegiate), is known for leading groups of students on various field trips to areas of the world where art is a big draw.

Think Europe, New York, and more recently, Los Angeles.

He’s also part of a show—Elusive Utopia—that is running from February 3 to May 7 at the Judith & Norman Alix Art Gallery in downtown Sarnia.
