Your future is waiting at Lambton College – and you might be able to achieve your goals sooner than you think.
That’s the message being conveyed by officials at the community college with a few limited spaces available in many programs for September 2016.
With that in mind, Lambton College is inviting interested applicants to visit the campus on Wednesday, August 17 between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. in Room N105 for an informative and interactive Return to Learn drop-in session.
Whether you’re a college or university graduate looking to enhance your degree, recently unemployed and interested in making a career change, or simply looking to upgrade your existing skills, these college information sessions provide interested applicants with the opportunity to speak to program advisors, faculty, and staff about everything that Lambton College has to offer mature and returning students.
“These are drop-in sessions where you can meet with Lambton College representatives in a casual, friendly, one-on-one format,” says Cindy Buchanan, Senior Director, Marketing, Communications & Brand Management. “It’s a very informal setup but can still provide you with all the information you need if you’re looking to enroll in a Lambton College program for September.”
‘It’s a very informal setup but can still provide you with all the information you need if you’re looking to enroll in a Lambton College program for September.’—Cindy Buchanan.
While high school students often have all their options and resources readily available to them when making a decision about college, Buchanan says it can be a little more difficult for mature or returning students to know where to access the resources and services available to them.
The good news is that the application process for mature students is the same as it is for everybody else.
If you’re still interested in finding out more information about enrolling in a Lambton College program this fall, Buchanan says this upcoming “Return to Learn” is the best place to start.
“There is still time left to apply for fall, but time is running out and spots are filling up,” she explains. “By attending one of these info sessions, we can help interested students navigate the application process and answer any questions they might have about attending Lambton College in September including questions about Financial Aid.”
Guests of the event will also be able to apply to Colleges Ontario on the spot with the assistance of an Enrolment Advisor.
