Lambton OPP says it will continue ‘roving’ R.I.D.E. programs

A weekend with over 100 calls for service didn’t hinder Lambton OPP from carrying out almost 20 Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere (R.I.D.E.) programs throughout the county.

More than 500 drivers were checked with only one driver, a 61-year-old Sarnia man, facing charges of impaired driving and possession of marijuana.

Lambton OPP says it will be using the roving R.I.D.E. programs on a daily basis in a continued effort to make traveling safer.
