Legionnaires trounce Lambton Shores in Junior “B” hockey

Jesse Drydak scored four times and added an assist to lead the Sarnia Legionnaires to a 9-3 romp over Lambton Shores on Thursday night at the Sarnia Arena.
Tyler Cicchini, Braden Kavaratis, Ilyva Arkalov, Shawn Waldie and Nathan Mater also scored for Sarnia, while Cicchini also added three assists.
Ryan Rupert had two goals for the Predators, with Matt Rupert adding the other.
Sarnia travels to Strathroy on Saturday, while the Preds host Chatham, also on Saturday at 7:30 at the Shores Arena.
PHOTO: Over 722 items, including mitts, gloves, scarves, toques, slippers and animals, were tossed when the Legionnaires scored Thursday night. Thanks go to the Cadets for helping pick up the items and the fans for making it a success.
