Man charged with driving under suspended license

Police allege he was in possession of a controlled substance

Sarnia Police say a routine traffic stop on Sunday afternoon resulted in a 29-year-old man charged with driving under a suspended license.

The man, when searched by an officer, was found to have what is believed to be hydromorphone (Dilaudid) pills. He was subsequently charged with possession of a controlled substance.

The traffic stop occurred onĀ Wellington Street.
