Matt Fecht wins YMCA/CHOK International Bridge Race

Win is the third straight for Port Huron native

Matt Fecht, a runner from Port Huron, won the 39th running of the YMCA/CHOK International Bridge Race on Sunday, the third straight year he has won the event.

This year’s winning time was 31.49.6.

Shawn Master of Sarnia was second. He came in 51 seconds behind Fecht.

The women’s winner of the race was Kayla Balfour of Port Huron with a time of 36.52.3.

Owen Peters won the men’s 5K race, with Ganelle Huybers winning in the women’s category.
