Lambton OPP are once again asking motorists to slow down and drive according to the road conditions, this after winds picked up out of the north over night causing drifting and snow covered sections of roadways across Lambton County.
Since around 6 p.m. Wednesday, officers have responded to at least 10 incidents where vehicles have left the roadway. Seven of those incidents were on Highway 402.
In two incidents, the collisions resulted in rollovers. Fortunately, there were no serious injuries.
During the morning commute, there has been freezing drizzle falling. OPP caution that when a roadway appears to be wet, it may actually be covered in a film of ice.
