OPP report theft of tools, truck catalytic converter in separate incidents

Lambton OPP report the theft of more than $11,000 in tools and a $2,000 catalytic converter in two separate incidents, the first in Oil Springs; the second in Lambton Shores. The incidents both occurred the evening and early morning of Dec. 20.

The tools were stolen from a company van parked behind 4602 Oil Springs Line, taking a variety of plumbing-related power tools and plumbing supplies.

In Lambton Shores, thieves stole the catalytic converter from a Ford Ranger pickup truck, cutting it out from the exhaust system. OPP believe the thieves gained access to the Lake Valley Grove property by snowmobile.

There are no suspects in either incident.
