Petrolia captures Pee Wee regional Silver Stick tournament in Watford

Petrolia has captured the Pee Wee "A" division crown at the 51st Roy Caley Memorial Silver Stick tournament in Watford.
The Oilers shutout Amherstburg, 2-0 in the final on Sunday after having beaten North London, 2-1 in the semi-final earlier in the day.
The Oilers won all five of its games, outscoring its opposition 25-4 in the process.
Petrolia now advances to the North American finals in Port Huron next month. Meantime, Mount Brydges won the Pee Wee "B' title and Ilderton captured the "C" crown.
The Bantam portion of the Watford tournament begins Monday.
At the Earle Trevail regional Silver Stick in Petrolia, three of four local teams were victorious on Sunday. Petrolia doubled Dorchester, 4-2 in Midget "A" action, The Petrolia Minor Midgets edged Ingersoll, 5-4 in a "B" division game and East Lambton opened the "C" division schedule with a 4-0 win over Lambeth. 
Mooretown was the lone local club to taste defeat, losing to North London, 6-3.
