Petrolia’s win streak in senior hockey reaches double digits

John Martin scored twice to lead the Petrolia Squires to a 4-3 victory over Thedford on Saturday afternoon in Western Ontario Senior Hockey League action at the RBC Centre in Sarnia.
Kyle Gould and Dan Veenema also scored for the Squires.
Stephen McLinchey counted twice for Thedford with Trevor Turner adding the other.
The Squires have now won 10 straight games and remain tied for first place in the league’s south division with Tavistock.
The Royals beat Milverton, 4-1 on Saturday.
Petrolia’s next game is Sunday, January 2 as they travel to Tillsonburg, while Thedford host Monkton on the same day at the Exeter Arena.
