Police looking for suspect in drug related encounter

Sarnia Police are looking for a suspect who is said to have evaded arrest after officers responded to a reported disturbance in the Trillium Park area of the City early Friday morning (May 20, 2016).

Tom Shade, 33, of Brantford, is now wanted on an outstanding warrant for two counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking.

Police had attempted to arrest Shade and another suspect, but Shade is said to have pulled away and began to run. Police say the suspect dropped a bag, which contained a large quantity of methamphetamine as well as Fentanyl patches and several grams of cocaine, the street value of which exceeded $13,000.
