Police make arrest in drug search

Sarnia Police say they have arrested a 28-year-old woman that was living in the 2000 block of London Line, charging her with various drug offences as well as being in possession of a “steel cobra,” a prohibited weapon described as a metal, spring-like baton.

A search warrant executed on the evening of May 5 revealed over 26 grams of methamphetamine along with small quantities of marijuana and fentanyl, all of which had a street value of $3,000.

Police also seized $3,400 in cash. The accused was in custody awaiting a formal bail hearing.
