Popular ‘Empty Bowls’ fundraiser coming March 31

Annual

Brian White, a Sarnia City Councillor, took part in Friday's "advance" event for Empty Bowls, a fundraiser that takes place March 31 at the Lambton College Event Centre.

Empty Bowls, an international grassroots effort to raise both money and awareness in the fight to end hunger, is returning to the Lambton College Event Centre on March 31.

This year marks the 10th Empty Bowls event, with all money raised going to the Inn of the Good Shepherd and the Lambton College Foodbank.

There are two seatings—at 5 p.m. and 7 p.m.—and tickets are available at the Inn of the Good shepherd, online at www.theinnsarnia.ca, or at the Lambton College Wellness Centre (E109).

A $25 ticket price includes a simple meal of soup and bread in a beautiful, handmade pottery bowl of your choice to take home.
