Purdy’s hosting fish fry fundraiser this coming Friday, Saturday

Tickets for 'all you can eat' event will benefit local church youth missions trip to Alaska

Purdy's Fisheries is hosting a fish fry on Friday, May 13, and Saturday, May 14 as a fundraiser for a church youth missions trip. Tickets for the all-you-can eat event are still available.

If you’re a fan of Purdy’s Fisheries (and especially their fish!), an opportunity still exists to grab a ticket for an “all you can eat” fish fry that takes place this upcoming Friday and Saturday—all in the name of a charitable cause.

One of Purdy’s owners, Tim Purdy, who attends Lighthouse Community Church, is organizing the event in support of a youth mission trip to Alaska this summer.

Menu for the event includes fish, fries, coleslaw and drink.

Tickets are $20 for anyone 16 years and older. Tickets for anyone 10 to 15 are $10 each (children under 9 are free).

There are two “sittings” on Friday, May 13  (at 5 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.) and open seating on Saturday, May 14 from noon until 5:30 p.m.

The event will go on “rain or shine.” Purdy’s is located just south of the Point Edward Casino.

For tickets, contact Youth Ministry Director Matt Clever who can be reached by phone/text at (519) 312-9876.
