Routine traffic stop leads to seizure of loaded rifle

When An OPP officer patrolling in the area of River Road in Lambton Shores stopped a pickup truck for not having a front licence plate, the officer found more than he might otherwise expect–a loaded rifle.

OPP say the firearm was seized pending further investigation and a 23-year-old Lambton Shores faces a charge under the Fish and Wildlife Conservation Act.
