Sarnia Police make arrest in early morning break and enter

30-year-old Sarnia man faces charges after being matched to security camera footage

Sarnia Police have arrested a 30-year-old man in connection with a robbery of a local business in the 500 block of Murphy Road that occurred at about 3:30 a.m. Friday.

When officers arrived on scene, they determined that the suspect had entered the premises through a broken window and exited through the door.

A review of video security footage gave investigators an image of the suspect and by 3:45 a.m., an officer had located a person matching the description of the suspect, arresting the individual at about 4 a.m.

The individual was awaiting a bail hearing and faces charges of break and enter.
