The Sarnia Sting has announced it has dealt left winger Patrick White to the Ottawa 67’s.
In return, Sarnia will receive the Guelph Storm’s 4th round pick in 2017, a pick previously acquired by Ottawa.
White, an overage player this season, was originally drafted in the 5th round of the 2012 OHL Priority Selection by Sarnia. White scored 31 goals and 21 assists for a career total of 52 points in some 142 regular season games with the Sting.
“We would like to thank Patrick for his time spent in Sarnia as a member of the Sting and the Sarnia-Lambton community over the last three seasons,” said Nick Sinclair, the Sting’s general manager. “We wish him nothing but the best of luck with the 67’s and finishing his OHL career in his home town of Ottawa.”
