Wallaceburg tops Alvinston in Junior ‘C’ hockey

Brandon Campbell made 43 saves, including 20 in the second period, but he could only hold the fort so long.
 
Rob Pollock scored the game-winner late in the second period and Wallaceburg added three unanswered goals in the third period to lead Wallaceburg over Alvinston 5-1 in Great Lakes Junior "C" hockey action on Friday night.
 
Corunna's Tyler Lewis led the Lakers with a goal and two assists, while Sarnia's Norm Leger had a goal and a helper.Kyle Brothers had the lone goal for the Flyers.
 
Wallaceburg plays the Flags in Mooretown on Saturday night at 7:30 p.m. The Flyers host Dresden on Sunday.
